Expert Staff

Symmetry Physical Therapy employs a hand-selected team of highly-trained, highly-educated therapists and staff who share our common health care philosophy. We provide you with personal attention during each visit, throughout your entire session. We would like your experience with us to be as enjoyable as possible, and we will attempt to answer all of your questions, both clinical and administrative. Our staff will work closely with you and your doctor to customize a treatment plan for your specific injury.

OUR LICENSED PHYSICAL THERAPISTS

• Have Master’s and in some cases Doctorate Degrees in the field of Physical Therapy

• Are licensed to practice Physical Therapy in the State of New York

• Specialize in the rehabilitation of orthopedic injuries and disorders impeding activities of daily living, sports related activities, as well as recreational activities

OUR PRACTICE MANAGEMENT TEAM

• Have advanced knowledge of billing procedures and insurance administration

• Are available to submit insurance claims on behalf of our patients and to coordinate care between the therapists, the patients and the referring physicians

OUR CERTIFIED ATHLETIC TRAINERS

• Have Master’s Degrees in Athletic Training from accredited colleges and universities

• Specialize in the acute management of injuries on the field and the rehabilitation of injuries in the clinical setting

OUR SPORTS PERFORMANCE COACHES

• Are certified by nationally recognized organizations and either have or are working towards degrees in health related fields of study including kinesiology, physiology, physical therapy and exercise science

• Are available to develop customized training programs while utilizing a multitude of training techniques based on years of evidence based research

OUR PHYSICAL THERAPY SUPPORT STAFF

• In most cases have degrees in a healthcare related fields of study (college degree not required by the State of New York when employed as physical therapist aide under the Physical Therapy Practice Act)

• Receive monthly in-services and education on current treatment and educational techniques

• Are fully trained and education in exercise and sports sciences and techniques
